    Day 1: The Journey Begins

    Start your adventure with a scenic drive through southeastern Ontario, stopping to welcome fellow guests along the way. After a pleasant lunch break, cross the border and continue to your overnight hotel. Once settled, join the group for a warm welcome reception and dinner.

    Day 2: Welcome to NYC 

    After breakfast, travel to New York City, arriving in time for lunch (on your own). In the afternoon, embark on a guided city tour through the vibrant neighbourhoods of New York City. Check in to your centrally located hotel near Times Square, surrounded by Broadway’s bright lights and world-class attractions. Enjoy a free evening to explore the city at your own pace.

    Day 3: Embark on your Norwegian Cruise Ship – Sails at 4pm

    Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the cruise port.     Your amazing adventure continues as you sail to your next destination.

    Day 12: Funchal, Madeira (7am - 5pm)

    Arrive in Funchal, Madeira’s picturesque capital, known as the “Island of Eternal Spring.” Explore the charming streets, visit the colourful local market, or ride the cable car up to Monte for stunning views. Don’t miss trying Madeira’s famous wine at a local shop before returning to the ship in the afternoon.

Whether you choose Granada’s rich Moorish heritage or the relaxed coastal vibe of Motril, the day offers something unforgettable before you return to the ship.

    Day 17: Ibiza, Spain (12pm - 10pm)

    Day 19: Disembark in Barcelona

    Disembark in vibrant Barcelona and meet your local guide for a city tour of this captivating Catalan capital. Enjoy an included lunch, followed by a visit to the magnificent Sagrada Família, the world’s largest unfinished basilica, renowned for its soaring towers, intricate façades, and an interior bathed in colourful light from its striking stained-glass windows. Spend some free time exploring before checking in to your hotel and gathering for a special farewell dinner.

    Although this tour starts and ends in Southern Ontario, guests can join this tour from anywhere in the world by flying to Toronto, and using our Connections Program for transportation to a pickup location, or fly directly to New York City! Please contact us to discuss your airfare and pre-and post-tour accommodation options.


    Comfortable rubber-soled shoes are recommended. Be sure to pack a sweater, as evenings can be cool on the water or in the air conditioning on the ship. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and a hat.


    While most guests don’t experience motion sickness, those prone to it may want to bring a remedy.  


    Currency: Euros are used in Spain, Portugal, and Madeira; British pounds in Gibraltar. Credit cards are widely accepted, but carrying some cash for small purchases or local markets is helpful.


    As with any cruise, a variety of optional shore excursions are available through the cruise line for an additional fee. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking early, as some popular excursions can sell out quickly.     What to Wear on the Cruise

    Daytime dress is casual. Shirts/cover-ups and footwear are always required indoors.

    For women, it includes summer and casual dresses, skirts, regular or capri pants, shorts, jeans, and tops. Khakis, jeans, shorts, and casual shirts are fine for men. There may be a night when you’ll want to get dressed up for an evening of cocktails, fine dining, and great entertainment.
