  • Day-to-Day Itinerary

    Day 1: Great Montreal Christmas Markets

    Board the coach and settle in for a comfortable journey to Montreal, arriving mid-afternoon. After checking into your hotel and getting your bearings, enjoy a short five-minute walk to the Great Montreal Christmas Market to start your Christmas shopping!  Browse at your own pace through festive stalls filled with unique gifts, handcrafted treasures, and seasonal treats. Enjoy dinner on your own, then return to the market at your leisure to soak in the sights, sounds, and seasonal spirit until 10pm.

    Stay: Double Tree by Hilton, Montreal, QC (1 night)


    Day 2:  Montreal to Québec City

    After breakfast, depart for Québec City. Upon arrival, enjoy an included group lunch before setting out to explore and shop at your leisure.  Located in the heart of the old city, the Québec City German Christmas Market captures the charm of a traditional European market, with a magical, multi-sensory atmosphere, beautifully crafted gifts, and irresistible German treats. Take your time browsing the festive stalls, and be sure to find the perfect spot to enjoy dinner on your own.

    Day 3: Free time in Old Québec City

    Today is a relaxed day to explore Québec City at your own pace. After breakfast, set out independently to explore the historic streets and festive surroundings. The Christmas Market is open today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering plenty of time to browse and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Maybe stroll along North America’s oldest streets or visit Petit-Champlain, a storybook-like pedestrian street beautifully decorated for the holidays. Take in the seasonal displays, browse unique boutiques, and warm up by the outdoor fire pits along the way. Later, reunite with the group for an included dinner.

    Day 4: Québec City Tour, Albert Gilles & Montmorency Falls

    After an included breakfast, set out on a full-day city tour showcasing the very best of Québec. Meet your local costumed guide, who brings the city’s rich history and old-world charm to life as you explore its most iconic sights. Continue to the Albert Gilles Boutique and Museum for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own Christmas copper ornament, a unique and meaningful keepsake of your visit. From there, travel to Montmorency Falls for a scenic visit and included lunch, taking in the breathtaking views of this dramatic natural landmark. Return to Old Québec in the afternoon to complete your city tour and enjoy the final highlights of this historic setting. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for an included farewell dinner.

    Day 5: Journey Homeward

    After an early breakfast, board the coach for the ride home. During the journey, stop at a traditional sugar shack for lunch.  Then it’s homeward with some unique gifts and memories of the festive side of La Belle Province.
