Day 1: Fly to Dublin, Ireland

Day 2: Guided Tour of Dublin, EPIC - Irish Emigration Museum
After arriving in Dublin, Ireland’s lively capital, meet your local guide, and board the coach for a guided city tour. Discover the stories that have shaped this historic city as you pass iconic landmarks including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College, Phoenix Park (Europe’s largest city park) fashionable Grafton Street, and the statue-lined O’Connell Street. Enjoy a visit to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be Irish and learn the powerful stories of those who emigrated and left their mark on the world. Later, check in to your centrally located hotel, take time to freshen up, and gather for an included welcome dinner to begin your Irish adventure together.

Day 3: Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Guinness Brewery
This morning, visit Trinity College to see the famous Book of Kells, considered the world’s most famous medieval manuscript, and the breathtaking Long Room Library, home to 200,000 historic volumes. Continue to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to admire one of the few remaining medieval buildings in Dublin, featuring original 12th-century floor tiles and artifacts still in use today. Enjoy free time for lunch before a self-guided tour of the Guinness Brewery, home to Ireland’s most famous beer. Cap off the visit with a complimentary pint in the Gravity Bar, offering 360-degree views of Dublin. Day 4: National Irish Stud & Gardens, Rock of Cashel
Bid farewell to Dublin and travel south to County Kildare, the heart of Ireland’s horse-breeding industry. Enjoy a guided tour of the Irish National Stud Farm, learning about its storied history beginning with its first winning horse, Minoru, in 1909, and how that legacy continues today. Stroll the beautifully landscaped grounds, including the symbolic Japanese Gardens, representing “The Life of Man,” and the recently opened St. Fiacre commemorative garden. After lunch on your own, continue to Cashel for a guided visit to the remarkable Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick’s Rock. This impressive medieval complex features a 12th-century round tower, 13th-century Gothic cathedral, Romanesque chapel, and a 15th-century high cross. Later, travel to the colourful coastal town of Kinsale in County Cork, famed for its cobblestone streets and reputation as Ireland’s gourmet capital. Check in for a two-night stay at the Acton Hotel, a boutique heritage property overlooking Kinsale Harbour. After time to freshen up, gather for a delicious group dinner

Day 5: The Queenstown Story, Blarney Castle & Stone, Free Time in Kinsale
After a lovely breakfast at the hotel, travel to Cobh, one of the main points of emigration during the great famine. Here you will visit “The Queenstown Story” which portrays the hardship of life onboard a ship as it sailed to the “New World”. Learn about Annie Moore, the first emigrant ever to be processed on Ellis Island, and Cobh’s ties to the Titanic. Then it’s off to Blarney Castle for the chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, said to “bestow the gift of eloquence on all those who dare”. As you make your way through the castle grounds, take some time to meander the Castle Gardens and Rock Close. Return to Kinsale for a free afternoon and evening to discover the town as you see fit.

Day 6: Skibbereen Heritage Centre, Kenmare, Ring of Kerry Drive
This morning, depart Kinsale and travel along the southern coastline to Skibbereen, stopping for a guided tour of the Skibbereen Heritage Centre. Skibbereen and the surrounding area suffered the most fatalities during the Great Famine of the 1840s and is the most significant town in Ireland in terms of famine heritage. Travel the coast via lovely, lazy towns & villages to Kenmare, an example of one of Ireland's few planned towns, established in 1670. Kenmare and its Gaelic name, Neidin means little nest given because of its fine setting, nestled among the mountains of Cork and Kerry. Continue travelling to Killarney via the famous Ring of Kerry. This famous route shows off the spectacular landscapes of Ireland. Arrive in old town and check in to your historically charming hotel. Freshen up and enjoy a locally sourced dinner.

Day 7: Dingle Peninsula, Brain de Staic Studio
Today, experience the unspoiled beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, once named the “Most Beautiful Place on Earth” by National Geographic. Visit a local artisan’s studio specializing in handcrafted Celtic jewelry, engraved with ancient symbols and the ogham alphabet, one of Ireland’s earliest forms of writing. Continue along the scenic Slea Head Drive, where sweeping Atlantic views reveal dramatic coastline and ancient beehive huts, early monastic settlements dating back over a thousand years. Stop at Ireland’s westernmost point for views of the Blasket Islands, made famous in films such as Ryan’s Daughter, Far and Away, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Enjoy free time in the colourful town of Dingle for lunch, then return to Killarney for a free afternoon and evening to explore the town’s lively nightlife.

Day 8: Shannon Ferry Ride, Cliffs of Moher, Overnight in a Castle!
After breakfast, bid farewell to Killarney and travel to Tralee, the capital town of County Kerry. Continue to Tarbert and board the Shannon Ferry, for a delightful ride across the Shannon Estuary to Killimer. From there, follow the coastal road to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, soaring up to 600 ft over the Atlantic Ocean. Take some free time to marvel at these iconic cliffs before continuing to the luxurious Dromoland Castle for an overnight stay. Built-in the 16th century as the royal seat of the O'Brien clan, the castle was transformed into a luxury hotel in 1962 while preserving its historic charm. Throughout your stay, admire exquisite woodcarvings, stone statues, and elegant antique furnishings that reflect centuries of heritage. In the evening, dress in smart casual attire and prepare for a magical private dinner in the castle’s exquisite Terrace Room.

Day 9: Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Glen Keen Farm Sheep Demo
Rise and shine from your royal sleep and enjoy breakfast at the castle before traveling to Galway to begin your journey through Connemara, a region of rugged mountains, sparkling lakes, and windswept boglands. Visit Kylemore Abbey, built in 1866 as a castle retreat, it is also the former home (1920-2008) of Benedict nuns. Learn the romantic yet tragic history of the building, meander through the Abbey’s Victorian Walled Garden, which is completely enclosed by a brick and limestone wall, and visit the beautiful Gothic Church. Travel through the scenic Doolough Valley along the Famine Walk, retracing the paths of those who left their homes in search of food during the Great Famine. Stop at Glen Keen Farm to enjoy freshly baked scones and a fascinating sheep herding demonstration. Continue along the foothills of Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s Holy Mountain, before arriving in Westport for a two-night stay. In the evening, gather for a delightful group dinner.

Day 10: Achill Island, Atlantic Drive, Slievemore Ghost Town, Freetime in Westport
This morning, travel to Mulranny and cross the Michael Davitt Bridge to Achill, Ireland’s largest offshore island. . As your tour follows the coastline you will get some breathtaking views on the island’s spectacular Atlantic Drive. Visit the deserted village at Slievemore, which consists of 80 – 100 stone cottages (booley homes) on the southern slopes of Slievemore Mountain. Return to Westport for a free afternoon and evening. Be sure to explore this picturesque town with its cheerful, multicoloured shop fronts and an attractive selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants.

Day 11: Turlough Park House, Museum of Country Life, Drumcliffe in County Sligo, Donegal
After breakfast, visit Turlough Park House, a striking Victorian Gothic heritage building and home to the award-winning Museum of Country Life. Explore Ireland’s rural past from the 1850s to the 1950s, discovering traditional trades, crafts, fashion, religion, and the nation’s agricultural and maritime heritage. Continue to Drumcliffe in County Sligo, where St. Colmcille founded a monastery in the 6th century. Drumcliffe is also the final resting place of one of Ireland’s greatest poets, William Butler Yeats (1865–1939), whose simple headstone bears the inscription, “Cast a cold eye on life, on death, horseman pass by.” Next, stop in Belleek, renowned for its exquisite Parian China at Belleek Pottery, Ireland’s oldest pottery. Following a guided tour, continue to Donegal for an overnight stay. Gather for dinner at your hotel to conclude a day steeped in Irish history and culture.

Day 12: Derry, Antrim Coastal Drive, Giant’s Causeway
This morning, travel to Derry City, perched on the banks of the River Foyle. Founded in 546 AD, the city still retains its impressive 17th-century walls. Pause to admire the modern Derry Peace Bridge, a 235-metre pedestrian crossing opened in 2011 that symbolically unites the two sides of a city once divided by centuries of conflict. Continue to Limavady and begin your journey along the scenic Antrim Coast Drive. No visit to Northern Ireland would be complete without seeing the Giant’s Causeway, a striking natural wonder of approximately 37,000 interlocking basalt columns. Follow the coast road with its breathtaking views of the northern shoreline before arriving in Belfast for an overnight stay. Check in to your centrally located hotel, freshen up, and enjoy an included group dinner.

Day 13: Guided City Tour of Belfast, Titanic Belfast
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Northern Ireland’s capital, Belfast. Discover the city’s rich history and iconic landmarks, including City Hall, one of Europe’s finest Classical Renaissance buildings; the Linen Hall Library, where lending books has been a tradition for over 200 years; and the Grand Opera House, often hailed as the most beautiful Victorian theatre in the world. Admire Belfast’s famous murals, which reflect the city’s complex history and political traditions. Learn about Belfast’s maritime legacy at Titanic Belfast, a state-of-the-art visitor center that tells the story of the ill-fated RMS Titanic as well as her sister ships, RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic. In the afternoon, return to Dublin, where your journey began, and gather for a farewell evening with your fellow travelers, sharing the memories and highlights of your Irish adventure.

This tour begins and ends at the Dublin Airport. Round trip airfare is included from Toronto (YYZ). Other flight arrangements can be made for guests coming from anywhere in the world, and the price will be adjusted accordingly. Due to the accommodation overseas, this tour only has a maximum of 5 single rooms.
PACKING NOTES:
We recommend comfortable rubber-soled shoes for walking tours, cobblestoned streets, and uneven ground.
The weather is unpredictable and changeable, so being able to dress in layers is recommended.
Pack a waterproof jacket. It may or may not be needed for rain, but it will also protect from cool damp winds.
