Celebrate the season in style with Halloween games, a costume party, and a spooky-themed dinner, all set in the charming, historic ambiance of The Waring House. Cap it off with a visit to Haute Goat Farms and lunch at the whimsically named Screaming Goat Café for a truly unforgettable fall escape.

From the sip & paint experience to guided tastings at Huff Estates, Broken Stone, and Redtail Vineyards, this tour blends local artistry with the rich wine culture of Prince Edward County. It’s a hands-on, glass-in-hand kind of day, perfect for wine lovers and creative spirits alike.

Day 1: Welcome to Prince Edward County, Sip & Paint, Halloween Games

Start the day with convenient morning pickups before heading to the famous Big Apple in Port Hope. Browse the country store, shop for local goodies, and enjoy lunch on your own. Then it’s off to beautiful Prince Edward County, where The Waring House, a fine old limestone home with 19th-century roots, welcomes you with warm hospitality and a touch of Halloween magic. This charming country inn, known for its historic character and inviting atmosphere, is fully decked out in seasonal décor, setting the stage for an unforgettable getaway. Get creative during a spooky-themed Sip & Paint session, where Halloween inspiration meets local wine and artistic flair. Then, enjoy a delicious included dinner in the inn’s cozy dining room, followed by festive Halloween games.

Day 2: Winery Tours, Shop Local Artisans, Spooky Games & Costume Party

In the morning, visit The Local Store, a beautifully restored heritage barn brimming with Canadian-made treasures from over 150 Prince Edward County artisans.  Next, treat your taste buds to a pizza lunch and wine tasting at Huff Estates Winery, followed by a guided tour and tasting at the boutique Broken Stone Winery. Then, stop by Bark Woodshop & Studio to explore handcrafted woodworks before enjoying a relaxed tasting at the scenic Redtail Vineyards. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel and get ready for a frightfully fun evening! Enjoy a spooky-themed dinner, then kick-off a festive night with a costume party (prizes for best dressed!) and Halloween games and laughter.

Day 3:  Haute Goat Farm, Home

After breakfast and a relaxing morning, board the coach and travel to Haute Goat Farm, arriving just after lunch. Enjoy a visit to the farm, meet the animals, and savour a delicious meal at the Screaming Goat Café. As the day winds down, enjoy the journey home, leaving behind the goats, the laughter, and just maybe... a ghost or two still lingering in the autumn air.

The Waring House is a historic property, spread out over three buildings. Each building has two floors with no elevators. Rooms vary in size and decor, and most are located on the second floor. Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. 

There is a fun costume party included in this tour. While guests are encouraged to bring a costume, it is not mandatory.
