April Travel Shows see Record Crowds!

The DeNure Tours staff are home again after some successful April travel shows in Lindsay, Kingston, Gananoque, Ottawa, Toronto, Milton, Bowmanville and Oshawa.
We enjoyed the chance to connect with some dear friends and meet a lot of people who are new to DeNure Tours. Guests to the show heard all about our spring and summer tours throughout the US and Canada.
At each show, there was also a draw for a DeNure Tours gift certificate and the winners were:

DeNure Tours was recently awarded the 2008 Customer Experience Award by the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce. Ray DeNure accepted the award at the at the Evening of Excellence event that was held to recognize individual and business achievements in the community.
At the event, a video was shown depicting our staff helping our customers to create memorable holidays.
As he accepted the award, Ray dedicated it to the entire staff who he said, “Are the cornerstones to our success.”

Customers now have some help in choosing their seat on an upcoming tour. We have now added the coach seating plans to our website! They can be found on the “Travel Information” page in the section titled, “Seating on the Coach”.
Passengers are reminded that all seating is subject to availability and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
On North American sightseeing tours, a seat is assigned for initial boarding. However, each day of your tour, passengers will rotate seats, allowing everyone different viewing positions in the coach.
On our Express Coach to our sunshine destinations, seats are assigned for both the southbound and northbound portions of your trip. Please check your documents carefully for your seat assignment. There is no seat rotation on the Sunshine Express.

A new feature has been added to the DeNure Tours website at www.denuretours.com
When you look at the pages that describe our tours, you will find that we have added slideshows of tour photos! This is in contrast to the static photo areas that used to require the visitor to advance to the next photo manually.
We are also working on adding audio to the slideshows for some of our tours.
Check out the slideshow for the “English Gardens & Hampton Court Palace Flower Show” tour and you’ll hear our very own Harry Simmons describe the tour in detail, complete with music to add to the experience.

DeNure Tours is honoured to announce that we have been nominated for the annual awards program of the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce.
On March 14th, DeNure Tours was named as one of 3 finalists in the Customer Experience Award category.
The chamber said there were a record number of submissions for this year’s awards. They are presented at the Evening of Excellence, a night celebrating individual and business achievements.
There are 8 categories in the award program: Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Customer Experience Award, Eco Star Award, Entrepreneurial Excellence Award, Design Award, and the Friend of Youth Award.
The winners in each category will be announced at the 2008 Evening of Excellence on March 28th, 2008.
