My husband and I had always yearned to see the Grand Canyon and the desert, so we decided to take DeNure’s tour to Arizona and fulfill one of our retirement dreams.
From the moment we were met in Toronto by the DeNure Representative we knew we were going to have a carefree holiday. Our guide Janet took care of everything. As she said “All we had to do was remember what seat on the bus we had each day”.
Every day was a new adventure. Stops were carefully planned so we could experience as much as possible on our holiday. She knew just where to get the best deals on souvenirs and the best things on the menus of restaurants.
We took the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams to the East Rim of the Canyon. What a thrill to walk right out to the rim of the Canyon and look down. It is truly amazing! One cannot grasp the size and grandeur of the Grand Canyon from any book or movie.
Our Hotel in Sedona was wonderful, as were all the accommodations. Each hotel seemed to be chosen for its convenience and services provided.
We had fun on the Jeep Tour of the red rock formations and then took the Verde Canyon Railway to view more of the glorious landscape around Sedona. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
This was truly a trip of a lifetime. We could never have seen so much and had such a relaxing, trouble free holiday if we had tried to do this holiday on our own.
