You should not travel outside Ontario without adequate medical and cancellation insurance. Like all insurance arrangements, travel insurance is characterized by very specific and precise wording which deals with benefits and the conditions that will exclude coverage.  RBC Insurance

Cancellation insurance protects you from losing your money, should you need to cancel your trip due to an unforeseen  medical emergency.

Trip Interruption insurance provides a refund for the unused portion of your trip, should you need to return home early, due to an unforeseen medical emergency.

Medical insurance covers unforeseen events that occur while travelling, making it necessary to receive immediate treatment from a licensed physician or to be hospitalized.

Insurance premiums are not refundable. You must be aware of the terms that may limit benefits and amounts payable. We will discuss them with you when we quote you a rate, and we will send you a booklet with all the insurance details when you purchase insurance with DeNure Tours.

To purchase the Medical Insurance (excluding the Travel within Canada Package), it is necessary to complete a questionnaire, (for ages 60+ for medical only and 75+ for deluxe package), so that RBC can determine the risk your health presents. The resulting score on this questionnaire will affect the rate you are charged for your medical insurance.

DeNure Tours Cancellation Protection Plan

Plan your holiday with confidence by purchasing the DeNure Tours Cancellation Protection Plan. For years, DeNure Tours has offered a Cancellation Protection Plan to guests travelling to our sunshine destinations in Florida and Myrtle Beach, and we are now extending the same coverage to guests travelling on sightseeing tours in North America. (Tours with a flight or cruise do not apply to this protection plan.)

Should you have to cancel your trip for any reason, our Cancellation Protection Plan guarantees a full refund of all payments except the Cancellation Protection Plan fee itself. We offer this plan because we know that despite your greatest intentions, unexpected events occasionally change your schedule, and you must cancel your holiday plans. Whether it is because of a surprise family wedding, the illness of a close friend, or the sudden onset of a cold, we offer a "no strings attached" opportunity to cancel your vacation right up to the day of departure, for any reason. We ask no questions, do not require a doctor’s note, and we refund your money right away.

Should you choose to purchase the Cancellation Protection Plan, the fee must be paid to DeNure Tours with your deposit. The Protection Plan is non-refundable, non-transferable and valid for each applicant only.

Important Details:

The Protection Plan Fee does not cover any single supplement charges which arise from an individual’s travelling companion electing to cancel. In that case, the remaining passenger would be charged the single price for the tour. However, by purchasing the Plan, you can elect to cancel your holiday rather than pay the extra charges. The Cancellation Protection Plan does not include medical insurance. The Cancellation Protection does not include trip interruption. If you must cut your vacation short, you will not be reimbursed for the unused portion of the trip.

Changes to your name on tickets or travel documents, and changes to departure dates are considered cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees, unless the Cancellation Protection Plan has been purchased.
