We're really pleased with our winter vacation at Pelican Beach Resort, Destin. The accommodation is excellent, as are the hosts, Ron and Debbie. You've chosen perfect hosts for this location - they've managed to fit in with the locals as well as the DeNure travellers. There seems to be a good variety of shopping and eating establishments within walking distance, and of course the DeNure shuttle bus is always available, with excellent destinations for both shopping and dining. We're certainly hoping to be able to return to Destin with DeNure.

I really enjoyed our trip down to Myrtle Beach. I am always interested in the bus motors. The drivers on our trip down were excellent. We are having a great time here. Our room is great; it is nice to listen to the ocean. Larry and Patsy work very hard to be sure that everyone is comfortable and well. I have enjoyed the theatres we have gone to so far. Having breakfast supplied each day and dinner provided once a week is much appreciated. We look forward to returning to Myrtle Beach again next year.

Anne and I returned yesterday after spending two great weeks at St. Pete Beach. The Tradewinds resort is first class and there are many fine restaurants within walking distance and also on site. Carol, the DeNures rep, looked after everyone in her usual wonderful fashion and she was backed by the excellent assistance of Sandro, the tour driver. You should not miss St. Pete Beach. There are many things to do in the area and DeNure staff make sure they are offered. This was not our first visit and we are certain it will not be our last.

Newfoundland
We flew to Newfoundland and met the bus to begin our tour. We drove all over with 52 people on board. We really enjoyed our trip and got to meet some other travellers that we still keep in touch with to this day. We took a lot of pictures of the sights we saw along the way. We joined in with the Newfoundlanders in the tradition of kissing the cod and drinking screech. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed eating a variety of berries while we were there.

Here we go again...another year that we started off the year saying...lets do something different this year and NOT go to Nautilus Inn.....and then, guess what....we plan another 17 days at Nautilus. Let’s face it; where else can you get the kind of vacation you get through DeNure. Right from the staff in the office when we book, the bus drivers, Mary, Angela, Rick and the crew at the hotel and the new renovations are wonderful. You can not match the value anywhere. We have created so many memories over the years in Daytona and why should this year be any different. Hang on Joanne I will be calling in the next few weeks to make our arrangements for October.

What is not to like at this awesome destination? We didn't think there was anything left this nice in Florida. Ron and Debbie are gold...they bent over backwards for everyone with good humour and grace. Driver Harry is amazing and a great mentor to new hire Shane who seems genuinely happy to be part of the team. First class accommodation and a beach to rival Cuba's best. Do not miss the trip to the naval museum or a very special little gem, the local historical society fishing museum. Bring your fishing stuff, easy to get around here by taxi or very friendly local transit. Safe, so much to do, and met great folks on the trip. Of course trip down and back were excellent with experienced Denure drivers. (Good movies too) We will be back.

We are presently at Pelican Beach and we think your move to the Pelican Beach was a very good move. We are presently in suite 407 at the Pelican and the staff have been tremendous and just cannot do enough for you to enjoy your stay. The housekeeping and maintenance has been tremendous, a big difference from the Summit. We have already booked for next year. As for Ron & Debbie, they are doing a great job trying to meet the needs of Senior which is a full time Job in itself, a great couple.

Myrtle Beach was great! We loved being on the Beach and flying kites with out grandson when he came for a couple of days. Patsy & Larry worked overtime to ensure that everyone had great seats at the theatre, marvellous shopping especially at Hamricks, and great meals at a wide variety of restaurants. Our two bedrooms were well equipped and had a washer & dryer.
Currently we are in Destin and loving it too. Ron & Debbie are great hosts as well!

When we first arrived at Pelican Beach Resort, I was pleased with the beautiful boulevard of palmettos leading in from Hwy 98. Being greeted by Ron and Debbie added to the satisfaction. When we got in our condo 2018 the view was not only of a beautiful beach, but of a well kept community.
The activities organized by the Murrays provide great variety and practicality. I especially appreciate being able to attend the church of our choice, and the social activities on site.
We came for four weeks and then booked two more. We also have booked for even longer in 2013, Lord willing.

Our 17 day trip to The Pelican Resort was not long enough as the time flew by. This time was made enjoyable by the hosts Debbie and Ron, and the shuttle bus drivers, Harry and John. Denure is extremely fortunate to have the above in their employ. Also, not to forget the drivers, Bill, Gord, Mike and Scott. The condo was excellent and very well kept. The activities were very fulfilling too. The waterfront beach and water were pristine.

The trip was beyond our expectations. Mary Kay our tour director was awesome, always full of information and good humour. Our bus driver Bob was excellent, very funny, friendly (must be the Irish in him) and so helpful. The hotels and meals were more than we expected. The places we saw were great. Really enjoyed the small towns we stopped at and the countryside was unbelievable. It was so different from home and we would recommend this trip. Even the weather was great and with some rain in Ireland it didn't affect us having a great time. We had a great bunch of people on the bus, had a lot of laughs. The train ride was so great, first class. We did not expect that. I wanted to see Ireland and England Wales and Scotland were a bonus. Will be taking other DeNure Tours in the future, they are great!!

This is a great destination! The Tradewinds Sandpiper has very comfortable rooms and I enjoy having my breakfast on the patio in front of my ground floor room. There are activities planned for every day and you are able to join in or do your own thing. Best of all are the Denure representatives. Sandro, our bus driver was ever patient and Carol was onsite 6 days a week to offer lots of activities and lots of enthusiasm.

Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo
I went on the 2011 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo and thoroughly enjoyed the it -- it was one of the best Denure Tours I've been on! The accommodation and food at the hotels were very good, and the hotel in the Halifax was across from the Metro Centre. The Tatoo was simply wonderful! I've done many tours with Denure, and this one was one of the best! I highly recommend it!

What a courteous, friendly staff you have at the Nautilus Inn. This was our first stay since the renovations and we were amazed at the transformation to the grounds. They are beautiful and you should receive a design award for the patio that now stretches from the building to the beach, it is gorgeous! Then there are the upgrades in the rooms to further enhance the hotel. Congrats on everything it made our month's stay even more enjoyable than in the past!

After many years at the Boardwalk, we were a bit hesitant to make the switch to Destin. We came for four weeks, and have added two more since we're enjoying this venue so much. Comparisons are odious, but this place has more than fulfilled our expectations. We enjoy the Pelican Beach Resort, our unit is very satisfactory, we are very conveniently located close to all amenities, and within walking distance of many. It is lovely to have Harry back on his bus, his usual courteous and professional self. I appreciate that the outdoor pool is comfortably heated, courtesy of DeNure, and have swum every morning. The activities are well-planned and carried out. But the biggest assets of this place are our wonderful hosts--Ron and Debbie are so tirelessly working to make every day enjoyable for all of us. Thanks for sending them, and thanks for this new venue. We've booked already for a longer stay in 2013.

DeNure drivers are the best! The coach was clean and comfortable and I watched some of the movies and enjoyed "Earth" and "Greek Holiday". Staff is great, the activities at the Nautilus get posted on the board and the shuttle service is very good. We enjoy our home away from home very much. Just didn't understand why the towels were exchanged daily when there's a notice in the bathroom to only change the ones we leave in the tub. Even after mentioning it to the housekeeping staff and the Front Desk, we had fresh towels every day, really that is not necessary. We like to be "green" and that bothered us. We were so impressed with the wonderful Xmas dinner at the Hilton Hotel, it was beyond our expectations and so festive. Also, the New Years Eve Party was very enjoyable, from the decorations to the food and free drinks, wow! This was our 3rd trip with DeNure and I'm sure not our last one.

I was hesitant about booking after the move from Panama City Beach to Destin. No need! DeNure has elevated their standards. Ron and Debbie are excellent hosts; the outdoor pool is perfect for swimming. The condo is well maintained and the grounds are quite clean. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance as well as the ones the activity buses visit. All in all it is a better location than Panama City Beach. I am already planning to book for next year.

This new destination for DeNure Tours has proved to be a winner in providing excellent accommodation at the Pelican Beach Resort. Our local hosts Ron & Debbie go over and above in helping the people in their care and work hard to ensure that everyone has a good time. In the event of an emergency they were front and centre showing care and compassion. Our local bus drivers are also good employees and it was great to see Harry back behind the wheel as he is a real and genuine gentleman. The Express bus drivers also performed to their usual high standard. The only very small concern that seemed to affect other travellers was the grocery pickup an hour after arrival, but as this did not concern Joan and myself, it was not an issue. We have booked for next year as have many of our friends. The eleventh commandment in Destin was "Thou shall not compare."

My husband and I travel every Christmas time to the Nautilus in Daytona Beach. The renovations done at the Nautilus are superb, as usual, the staff were caring and fun, the Christmas day buffet dinner included, was fantastic as well as the New Years Eve party. Of course, one of my favourite things is having the activity buses at our disposal to take us shoppers everywhere and the drivers are so accommodating. We can hardly wait to go again.

Another fabulous DeNure Tour! We left July19, 2011, (via Taxi from our door) for the 10 day tour of Newfoundland. We saw it all...icebergs, moose, whales, puffins, light houses, fishing villages, and scenery beyond our expectations. Gros Morne was a particular highlight and the Viking settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows. We ate cod every day and still enjoyed it to the last day! Accommodations were great and the hospitality wonderful. We never could have seen it all on our own. DeNure arranges it all so efficiently. Thanks DeNure!

My wife enjoyed the pool and shopping but I really enjoyed the daytrip to Mount Dora. We had a 2 hour boat ride where we saw gators, birds and snakes. We then had several hours to enjoy the town which I equate to Niagara on the Lake. DeNure were so accommodating to take my mobility scooter which made our trip so much better for me. It fit under the bus easily and Larry, the bus driver, was so helpful to my wife. I highly recommend this $50.00 daytrip inland.

Great Lakes Circle Tour
Last year I took the Lake Superior Circle Tour, now renamed the Great Lakes Circle Tour. It was one of the best bus tours I have taken in over 30 years of travelling. Highlight of the trip was the Wisconsin Dells boat tour, but I also was wowed by the Bush Plane Museum in Sault Ste. Marie, the fun atmosphere in Frankenmuth and best of all, of course, the gorgeous scenery of Northern Ontario. Thank you, DeNure, for this special experience.

Cape Cod
We had often thought about visiting Cape Cod, but hadn't gotten around to it. But last fall we decided on the DeNure coach trip to Cape Cod and we were pleased that we did. We took our first bus tour with DeNure. Our destination was Newfoundland. DeNure made arrangements to pick us up in Barrie and we were met at Deer Lake by Floyd. The tour was even better than I anticipated. Everything was well arranged and nothing was left to chance. We saw wonderful sites and met some great people. We were told by a seasoned traveller that we had spoiled ourselves for touring with any other company and I believe it. It was fabulous and the memories are something I will always treasure. The talent wrapped up in those individuals is phenomenal. The daily bus adventures offered something for everyone and even in one instance when a sightseeing tour of lights wasn't planned for the week I was there - it was added to the agenda and was a success. Christmas in New England
This was only my second trip with DeNure. My first was last year to Christmas in Frankenmuth. Because I enjoyed that one very much I booked on the Christmas in New England. It turned out to be the best Christmas I have had in many a year. Howard was just a great Tour Director making sure everyone was having a good time. The people on the coach were all very congenial and entered into the spirit of the Season. Our hotel hosts were so very hospitable and gave us an insight into what Christmas must have been like in days of yore. We went to the Nautilus Inn last April, before the renovations, and it was fantastic. I can't wait to see it now!! The staff were pleasant, the place was very clean, the itinerary for side trips, shopping and meals was everything you could want. It was such a joy, to wake up and look out your window to see this beautiful beach, birds and sunrise. And then after a great breakfast (which is included) go out the back gate and you are walking on this wonderful beach. Oh, and the Happy Hour was great too.

Daytona Beach, Florida
We spent three weeks at the Nautilus last winter. We had a great time, enjoyed the excursions and the restaurants, where we were taken and retrieved by friendly and cheerful bus drivers. The ocean was as beautiful and mesmerizing as it always is. Happy hour was lots of fun with varied entertainment, including some pretty darned good karaoke. This winter we are going to the Nautilus again, plus a Caribbean cruise, and we can hardly wait! :o)

Arizona
After two pleasurable days in Las Vegas and a tour of the Grand Canyon, we set off on an extensive north to south tour of Arizona. The sights and sounds were awesome with the canyon jeep ride one of the more memorable moments along with the train ride. Mind you, the Route 66 visit was pretty hokey but still memorable. All in all, a great tour which we would heartily recommend. DENURE is a great outfit.

Destin Florida-2012/Panama City Beach-2008-2011
Because of our enjoyment at Panama City Beach we are going to Destin on Feb. 1 for one month. Having ridden with Ron on numerous trips we know we will have a good time with him and Debbie. The drivers are always courteous and helpful as well as being safe drivers on the coach and when you get to or leave your destination.

As usual my trip down to Daytona Beach was smooth and carefree. The drivers are courteous and friendly and I never feel rushed to finish a meal. Likewise the staff at the Nautilus continue to go out of their way to be helpful. I especially enjoy the Happy Hour each evening which gives me an opportunity to mingle with the other guests and Karaoke night is a blast. Having a bus to take me shopping and dining makes for a stress free day and evening. The camaraderie of the guests and staff makes The Nautilus an exceptional place to spend my vacation.

Quebec City and Montreal
We had a wonderful time. What a variety of sights we saw from the beautiful Quebec City to a sugar shack! The accommodations were first rate, and our driver managed to avoid the busy downtown Montreal traffic. Lots to see and a great group to travel with. Our hostess was the best and was ready for every stop and any problems. The weather had it's moments but there were indoor alternatives so, no problem! I'd do this trip again in a flash!

A Spring Bermuda Cruise with HAL
Last year I went on the Bermuda Holland America cruise which I thoroughly enjoyed. The cruise food was outstanding, the cruise activities were numerous and great plus the beautiful blue green waters around Bermuda are lovely. I liked it so much that I am taking the same tour again this spring. It is one of the best DeNure tours I have taken. I recommend it.

We travelled to Destin December 28th, 2011 to January 13th, 2012 and celebrated New Years with Ron and Debbie. They were great hosts and the condominium at the Pelican Beach Resort was most comfortable and well equipped.
We thoroughly enjoyed the two week activity programs. The bus rides were comfortable, and as usual the drivers were great. Destin will remain in our memories until we return.

We stayed from Dec 29, 2011 to Jan 12 2012 at the Pelican Resort. The motorcoach drivers were very helpful and considerate both ways. Great movies were shown on the coach, Kings Speech and Young Victoria. Our 2 Bedroom condo was clean and a pleasure to stay in. Ron and wife Debbie are most enjoyable and a good team to represent DeNure. Yes, we would and will recommend DeNure Tours.
PS When we used to travel with a Bus from St. Petersburg Beach to Billoxi they played comic videos from Jakob Smirnoff, it was so much fun.

Wow….what a fantastic trip we had to Destin, Florida with DeNureTours. The bus drivers on the way down to Destin (Rick and Rusk); on the drive home (Tod and Gord) were extremely friendly, very courteous and drove in a really safe manner. When we arrived at the Pelican Beach Resort Ron and Debbie were there to greet us with a warm welcome. Our condo was absolutely stunning, very cozy and fully equipped with everything we needed including a perfect view of the ocean. The Shuttle drivers, Harry and John were very informative on great places to shop and eat, they were also very friendly and helpful. Thomas took great care of our luggage.
Ron and Debbie were amazing; they took great care of us, planning dinners, shopping trips and entertainment. They were extremely helpful, friendly, funny, they went above a beyond to make our stay a most memorable one.
Destin, Florida is beautiful, the white sandy beaches, relaxing atmosphere and the warm weather, makes for a perfect vacation. We wish we could of stayed longer. We are already planning to return to Destin, Florida with DeNureTours and can’t wait.
I would highly recommend Destin, Florida for a fun vacation!!

The wow factor of Destin, Florida is for sure from the hosts Ron and Debbie. We were happy with everything from the Pelican Resort to the white sandy beaches to the area attractions, including restaurants. (All within walking distance from the resort.) Our condo on the beach faced the Gulf, very clean and tidy, as well all amenities met.
This was our first trip there and more to come. Very nice time of year to travel there (Oct-Nov) beats the summer crowds and the weather is warm enough for shorts in the morning and hot enough in the afternoon for a dip in the pool or the ocean.
We can't wait to go again.

We've been at least 12 times and it keeps getting better. Larry and Patsy are such a caring family and look after everything so well. They're like family. The outings and shows are tremendous and you get the best seats at a very reasonable price. Don't let the journey put you off because the drivers are great and the movies help to pass the time away. Also many stops along the way in comfy seats with pillow and blankets.

Chicago
Our trip to Chicago was filled with many activities which were both informative and fun. I was amazed at the lake front parks and all the museums. The art gallery was a particular favourite along with the river cruise with all the architectural skyscraper wonders. The Sears building gave great views of the city. There was plenty of time to shop and enjoy the nearby restaurants. I would do this tour and Washington a second time.

Arizona
This was an AWESOME Adventure! And an adventure it was, seeing the Grand Canyon and riding in a Jeep through Sedona were the highlights for me. Every day was a great one, with the wonderful care and sense of humour of Janet, our Tour Director and the professional skills of Bruce our Driver. After 10 days we felt like family. They made our experience a very stress free and enjoyable one. I got to see so many of the sights that were on my bucket list!

Drivers and time schedule was spot on and hotel staff and accomodation excellent. We are non drinkers so did not participate in the Happy Hour and we like the freedom to go out on our own for shopping and meals so we rented a car for 5 days. However we did go out on the bus for some shopping and meals.
The only negative was the wait on departure day from 11:00am to 3:30pm when the bus left but we used the local Denure bus to go to the mall and get lunch.

The new look at Nautilus Inn is really out of expectation. The pool has another area to host lots of bathers. All the rooms are beautifully upgraded. Staff and room attendants are efficient and extremely friendly. Mary O'Brien is exceptional. She makes everyone feel at home. Every year going back to Nautilus Inn is just like coming home.

We have just been to the Nautilus Inn on the 10 day tour. This is the best holiday we have had in a long time. The Inn is lovely and the accomodations are excellent, the drivers are really friendly and the hotel staff are wonderful. Mary and Rick are great hosts and their team work really well with them. The outings to the malls, stores etc are terrific and 'Happy Hour' is really entertaining. We have already booked to go in February 2012 and this time we have booked the 17 days tour which we are really forward to. We would recommend this to anyone and especially young and old seniors.

Agawa Canyon All Canadian Tour
The Agawa Canyon was everything it says it is. The train ride was very long on the seats which were very uncomfortable for an eight hour ride. You could not get a break from your sitting space by going to the snack bar and having something there as that area was taken up with the making up of the box lunches.
The breakfast was very good and a welcome change from our seats. One of our washrooms was also not working.

Just returned from the above tour. This has to be the best tour we have taken so far. Mary Kay, our Tour Director, and Bob ( Bubbles ) our Irish driver were masterful in making our tour so enjoyable. To mention only a few....we saw the city of Bath, Stonehenge, went to London to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace but she wasn't home. We cruised Lake Windermere, took the hight speed traIn to Edinburgh. Kissed the Blarney Stone, toured the Ring of Kerry and drank a little Guinness in Ireland. The sites we saw, the new friends we made all contributed to a great holiday, try it !

Nashville at Christmas
We had a great time on this tour. Muriel Tisdale was excellent and a lot of fun . The bus driver was very good I can't remember his name, it was the tour in 2010 and he is retired now. We are going back this year and we hope we get Muriel again. We had a passenger that was hurt on the trip and she couldn't have been more helpful in fact I hope she can go again this year because she didn't have much time to herself. Looking forward to our trip in November.

Taste of Europe
A very busy tour, but good - especially with Mary Kay and Max!!! We had Mary Kay in 1999 on the Rockies tour, and she was just as knowledgeable and friendly this time. This was our first time with Max, and he was most courteous and friendly. The only thing that we would comment on is the arrival times back at the hotel after day tours. We know that this may not be possible and yet see so much, but a 5 - 5:30 arrival back would be better - giving us more time to rest before dinner.

Ecclesiastical tour of Britain
This was a fabulous tour. Darlene, our Tour Director was essentially perfect in her role, keeping us organized in all the nicest ways. Bus was clean; driver excellent; hotels were great; we saw and did alot of unique things, being inside the stones at Stonehenge was awesome. Great walks in Scotland and Wales; loved the train-ride; York was terrific. I could go on.
Little bit too much shopping for me...but that really is just me. Not enough time in London but we stayed on another 5 days and that wasn't enough either. Congratulations to all who worked on planning this trip...well done!
Yes we may go on another trip and would recommend your company to friends.
